From Lexington, Kentucky, Visumatic Industrial Products provides an affordable engineered solution to “feed and drive” fasteners. This is done automatically, using handheld screw-driving systems, robotic end-of-arm driving systems, feeders, and more. Visumatic fabricates common systems with their standard trademarked devices, part families, and processes. However, more than half of the parts are customized, making them an Engineer To Order company, in need of a true ETO solution.
With around 40 employees, Visumatic mainly uses Inventor and AutoCAD Electrical. A few employees continue to utilize 2D CAD for simple tasks. Knowing this, Visumatic decided it was time for an update. Additionally, in the process, they were looking to get a better ETO workflow to unify the information for all departments.
