About ACE Automation
Automation Controls & Engineering (ACE) are known for their large Integrator capabilities, with small business flexibility. With headquarters in Dexter, Michigan, ACE has over 120,000 square feet of manufacturing space, across three facilities.
ACE specializes in material handling, assembly, inspection, and test machines. In May of 2022 though, ACE acquired Michigan Custom Machines, a custom test company with over 25 years experience. This growth inspired the team to find an ERP that can handle all the custom aspects of their business.
Custom Machine Builders Need a Custom ERP
As Custom Machine Builders, ACE earned a reputation for quick response and turnaround time. Therefore, it’s important to the company to continue providing such great service. Total ETO will be able to help ACE meet this goal across the organization, particularly in sales, engineering, and manufacturing.
ACE is also looking forward to working with the Dynamic BOMs that Total ETO is known for. It allows them to bring their design work into a project, without leaving CAD and with no double entry. Additionally, Engineers will be able to copy parts from a past project’s BOM to a new BOM. They’ll also be able to cost out the BOM before purchases are made.
