With Headquarters in Erlanger, KY, Engenesys was founded in 2009. Known for designing and delivering custom automation equipment, Engenesys isn’t shy about taking on new automation challenges. Drawing on the company’s successful experience, AutoboxPac was established specifically to serve automated box packing. Together Engenesys and AutoboxPac can tailor solutions, no matter the size or scope of the project.
Custom Automation and Packaging Requires Dynamic BOMs
The Engenesys design philosophy is centered around industry-proven techniques and robust mechanical systems. Providing turnkey custom equipment requires an experienced and dedicated team. Their old job shop-based system prevented them from fully coordinating projects. The BOMs were also static and difficult to work around. Total ETO’s dynamic BOMs allow designers to review and cost out the BOM before purchases are made. They can also release parts to procurement in stages, preventing the production delays that used to seem inevitable when it came to long-lead components.
Meanwhile, AutoboxPac builds custom automated box packaging systems. They provide a strong ROI, often, in less than one year. So, it’s important for the team to ensure quality and costs remain in check. The budget versus actual information provided by Total ETO helps engineering and procurement to stay within their budget. Manufacturing can also better record and follow up on quality issues on the shop floor; for custom fabricated or purchased parts with embedded non-conformance reports.
